Pastor James Dutton

Pastor James Dutton was saved at the age of 27 on August 27th, 1982 from a life wrecked by drug abuse and scarred by sin.
Immediately thereafter he gave himself to reading and studying the Holy Scriptures desiring to know more about this wonderful salvation he had received from the Lord Jesus Christ.
In November of 1982 he took the first step of obedience in a new Christians’ life and was baptized.  He began faithfully attending First Bible Baptist Church in Rochester New York.
Still craving bible knowledge he began attending classes at Northstar Bible Institute in Rochester, New York and during his second year God began dealing with him about the call to preach the gospel.
One year later he surrendered to the call of God on his life during a church service at Walker Bible Baptist Church in Hilton, NY.  God then led him to continue his studies at Pensacola Bible Institute in Pensacola, Florida.

In 1990 Pastor Dutton graduated and received a Bachelor of Divinity in the exhaustive study of the Old and New Testament, Church History, Missions, Greek, Hebrew and Manuscript Evidence. In fall of 1997 God called him to start a church in Arizona and on March 12th, 1998 he and his wife JoAnn settled down in the town of Chino Valley, AZ.  It was here that the Lord impressed upon Pastor Dutton to start a church that would take a stand on the pure word of God, the KJV 1611. While searching for a place to hold church services Pastor Dutton began a radio ministry called “Plain Preaching” that aired at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings.  Three short months later Bible Baptist Church held its first service at the Senior Center in Chino Valley with twelve people in attendance.

God has continued to bless this ministry with many souls saved and lives changed.
